Description: Serves food and beverages to the public and maintains cleanliness of food service areas and equipment. Prepares and serves meals. Cleans kitchen and dining area and washes kitchen utensils and equipment, according to sanitary methods and codes. Operates cash drawer/register and makes change for payment of meals.

Examples of Duties

1. Prepares foods and beverages served in a concession area at the Event Center.

2. Participates in cleanup activities including washing utensils and dishes in accordance with codes and procedures, wiping down tables, and periodic cleaning of vents and filters.

3. Interfaces with the public while serving food.

4. Performs other duties of a comparable level/type as required.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
