Iris! Let me be your new family member!!

Im a 2.5yr old spayed female Blue heeler. She is needing to be re-homed. I thought she be a good fit with our other two dogs but shes not.

Iris is super sweet, she wants nothing but cuddles and loving. She will lay at your feet all day and night if she can. She enjoys playing outside and chewing on horns or antlers. She does well with kids and people. She is curious about cats but does well with them as far as I can tell.

Iris would do best in a home with older dogs and dogs her size or bigger. As well as just 1-2 other dogs if not just by herself.

Shes not the best with puppies or small dogs.

We rescued Iris from an abusive home. She has been rehabilitated and we wish we could keep her but she doesnt do well with our beagle puppy. (We had the puppy before Iris) we do love her very much but she needs to be in a house with less animals and more space to run and play and a space where she can have her own area and not be intruded by a small animal.

She can be skittish and fearful around larger sized men. She does well with my bf and male family members and our male friends. She would need some time to get use to the man if in a family setting.

Iris has her up to date rabies shot. She needs her distemper and bordatella shot as the old owners didnt have records of them on her. Iris does have a few health issues but they are minor. 1) she needs her ears cleaned and montitored as she is recovering from a bacterial infection on them that was ignored by her old owners ignored. They are healing very well.

Iris has so much potential and love to give. W want her to go to someone she feels safe and comfortable with and would give her all the love she needs.

Iris comes with her rabies records, collar leash, harness, food bowls, travel kennel and some some food/ treats to help her transition to her new home. There is no rehoming fee we just want her to go to a good happy family. We love her and wish we could keep her but ultimately we cant for her own safety and our puppys safety.
