Need a HUSBAND horse? 14 yo QH gelding

Dually is a big boy, hence the name. He's got size, bone, and large, healthy feet. Add in that he's put together well with a great personality and this horse is the total package. Pictures with my husband-->he hadn't ridden since 2006, I hadn't ridden Dually for 2 or 3 months before this day. Dually rode alongside wagons without twitching an ear. I've moved cows on him and used him to hold cows who were separated from their calves and perturbed about it. Didn't bother him a bit.

He is a full Quarter Horse, papers were lost but I know his breeder. Hetletved-bred horses are known for their size and willing personalities, you can not go wrong with this guy. I put shoes on him for riding on gravel but he doesn't need them, farrier will back that up. Loads well and picks up feet. Towards the top of the pecking order but not nasty about it.

ONLY reason this horse is for sale is that he just isn't getting used like he should be. Horses like Dually are hard to find so I'm putting him out there for a new family to enjoy.

While he will pack around an inexperienced rider, I will not sell him to an inexperienced owner. He's a big, smart, sweetheart of a horse but his size could be overwhelming and he will try to outsmart you. So, buyer does needs some horse sense.
