The receptionist is the first point of contact for the customers of DAK Diesel. As such, the primary role is to represent the organization in a professional manner. To do this, calls must be taken, and messages relayed in a courteous and thorough way that allows the receiver to respond in a complete and professional manner to meet the needs of our customers. Other job responsibilities are outlined below.
Responsibilities:
o Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, handle inquiries and customer counter sales.
o Prepare and distribute internal communications, memos, and reports.
o Maintain filing systems and organize documents.
o Maintain Facebook and Instagram pages.
o Assist with data entry and record keeping QuickBooks entries.
o Maintain office supplies, ensuring inventory levels are sufficient.
o Online store inventory management and shipping of orders.
o Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
o Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
o Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and employees.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
Experience as a receptionist is a must!
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and email platforms.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
The ability to multi-task is a must!
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are a must!
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills is a must!
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
