We are looking for a confident, personable results-oriented individual to join our Sales Team. Your agricultural/sales background and networking abilities would be considered a great asset as we continue to grow and manage our sales in North and South Dakota. Most important will be your willingness and desire to directly educate Farmers and Dealers on the

Dutch Agricultures state-of-the-art seeding options. A determination to get the job done right, a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, and the desire to be the go-to person for all customer needs will assure your success.

Responsibilities:

Building Connections with Producers:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with producers, becoming a trusted partner on the farm.

Provide on-farm consultations to understand the specific needs and challenges of producers.

Educate producers on Dutch Industries' innovative seeding solutions, helping them optimize their operations.

Offer continuous support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

Training and Relationship Building with Dealers:

Work closely with our established dealer network to provide comprehensive training on our products.

Develop strong partnerships with dealers, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources needed to effectively sell and support our products.

Collaborate with dealers to strategize and execute sales plans that align with regional market demands.

Conduct regular visits to dealer locations to offer ongoing support and strengthen relationships.

Travel and Coverage Planning:

Willingness to travel extensively throughout North and South Dakota, including

overnight travel.

Plan your coverage between producers and assigned dealers on approximately a 50/50 basis to maximize impact.

Attend trade shows and industry events to represent Dutch Industries and expand your network.

Producer/OEM Relationship Development:

Utilize strong influencing skills and effective two-way communication to build trust and rapport with producers.

Provide exceptional customer service and strive to exceed customer expectations.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Manage relationships with OEMs

Performance and Earnings:

Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dedication to achieving sales targets.

Benefit from a compensation package that includes a base salary plus commissions, reflecting your success and efforts.

Qualifications:

Agricultural background could include Ag sales, Parts, Service, farming, or other equivalent exposure to Agriculture would be considered an asset but is not necessary.

Previous experience calling on Producers and Dealers would be an asset but is not necessary.

A self-starter with the ability and maturity to approach your territory in a structured and disciplined fashion.

Strong influencing skills with a developed level of two-way communication.

Ability to develop strong dealer and producer relationships.

Willingness to provide above-average work ethic for above-average earnings.

Properly documented to travel between United States and Canada.

Willingness to travel to Canada for training, meetings and occasional trade shows.

Ability to troubleshoot product issues with the help of our engineering team and assist in identifying new innovations the market is requesting.

The ideal candidate would be located in central North Dakota.
